texas, our texas.

we're home...
carson is a traveling rockstar. he slept the whole way to alabama, and the whole way home.

I have a bazillion things to do tomorrow in preparation for Carson's birthday party Saturday afternoon... so it was a must that KT cut his work week short and we fly home this evening.

Tomorrow both my boys are getting haircuts, we are throwing in a preschool tour around lunchtime, then my BFF & I are going to be busy making the party favors for C's party all afternoon. Later in the day my sweet sister & her hubby should arrive for the festivities and we're having the "family birthday party" at my parent's tomorrow night. Have I mentioned lately that Carson is so blessed?

Real quick before I go... I have been a bad blog-friend this week, not returning all of the comment love we've received regarding C's 2nd Birthday. Thank you all so very much for your sweetness. I promise to get back to my normal routine of LOVING on your blogs too next week once we're back in our Texas groove...

Lastly, my beautiful Canon Rebel is here and will make its debut this weekend... any tips, tricks, or special somethings I need to know to take great pictures?

Love, love, love y'all.

Hi Meredith,

You may or may not remember me. I was an intern at FCCC when you were in the fifth grade (or the summer just after, actually).

Your blog is great and it looks like you are just a richer (quality-wise) version of the fifth grader I knew in 1997. (Remember the 'M' bracelet in the laminator at church? You've always been creating stuff.)

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi, I know I always like comments on my blog, so i'd thought I'd leave one on yours.

Have a great weekend,
Jana (Varley) Green
