O Who?

Hey mama's... do any of you use these adorable, and super good-for-your-baby Wee Go glass bottles? I am really into using these for our next baby (NO, NOT PREGNANT). I think plastic sippy cups, bottles, etc. are so sickening. They get smelly, and yucky and are just impossible to keep clean and sterile. I nursed Carson for ages upon ages (NO, NOT STILL)... and he rarely took a bottle, so I figure I could invest in a few of these for kiddo #2 without breaking the bank. I'd love to know your thoughts or experiences using glass baby bottles.
Since Carson's birthday is a mere 5 days away... I was nostalgically looking at the ittikid website and fell in love with this choo-choo train tee. He is all about transporation this year, and I feel like this might just be the ittikid piece to commemorate that. You'll remember that his monkey hoodie from his one-year photos/party was ittikid, hence the walk down memory lane.
I am stinkin' excited for THE BIG GAME this weekend!

For once, it didn't fall on my birthday weekend... and I have to admit, I am kind of glad about that. But, this Saturday morning, at 11am, we'll be parked in front of a television set, wearing our finest burnt orange duds... ready to cheer on our HORNS to victory!

Can I just say that I am loving that the Co-Op has an actual O Who? Section on their website? Genius. It should be a great game, Hook 'em Horns! I think we need to make a little trip to the Houston Co-Op Friday for these tee's...
In other, completely unrelated news...

I am participating in Kelsey's Wishful Wednesday this week: I wish I had one particular talent and it would be... TO SING WELL!
I feel like most things can be learned, or acquired, or taught. But singing, not so much. You've either got it, or you don't. And, rest assured, I sound like a donkey when I try to sing. I would love to be able to sing beautifully... when Kevin & I first started dating, I would never sing. I told him "I only sing for Jesus"-- and even in that case, it's more like a joyful noise, one could hardly call it music. I am over my fear of singing in front of him now, poor guy... but I sure do wish I could sing my baby to sleep, instead, I'm afraid I might give him nightmares.

One can wish... right?!

I hope you all are having a blessed week so far. Happy Wednesday sweet readers. Oh, tomorrow is the last day to enter to win the Random Target Giveaway!! You know you want a free bag of candy-corn! Love.

Im not a mommy - or mommy to be, but those bottles are so cool! I love seeing all of these neat things for when it is our time to have a baby!

I think singing was one of the most popular for the wishful wednesdays! :)

I have been using the Avent bottles (which I'm sure I'll bring out at some point tomorrow...), and I really do like them, except that they're pretty expensive. I love the glass bottles you found- it looks like they'd last a whole lot longer for not very much more than I'm spending on bottles now. I think I might invest in the starter pack to see how Liam likes them... he's nipple picky and really loves the Avent ones, hates BornFree...

This comment has nothing to do with your post...but! I have always wondered about you and Kevin's story...I have been reading your blog for over a year now (waiting to get courage to start my own!) and have always wondered how you met, got engaged, etc! Any thoughts on doing a little series about that? (I just realized when I saw your birthday pictures that we are the same age)

I love the glass bottles! They are so cute and colorful. However not practical for my little angel because she has taken a bottle since two months. Hence I would need at least 7-8...and my husband would no doubt break 3-4! Ha! ...

I HAVE that "O Who" shirt and will be wearing it ALL day Saturday! The McQuire family is also PUMPED to kick some Sooner butt!! HOOK'EM HORNS!!

Those bottles are super cute! We have always used Dr Brown's and LOVE them! I am going to try out the Born Free ones this time as well. I like the idea of glass bottles, but I always think about when they hold them themselves and how often my girls would drop them on their faces and fell like that would hurt a lot.

This post makes me laugh... I can't sing either! I really think I'm tone deaf and I'm not kidding! I grew up Church of Christ so I grew up singing acapella and I thought everyone that grew up singing acapella eventually learned to sing! Not me! It's so bad!

Have a fun trip to Alabama! Happy Birthday Carson!
